Some alarms are never dispatched at all. A temperature alarm, a plant trouble, a door held. They become an email. The people on shift could have acted in the hour the stock sat in a warming freezer.

- A tablet at the desk or a larger screen on the wall, depending on the room.
- A screen that has stopped working tells you, so a quiet desk means a quiet night.
- Staff first. Keep a central station behind them, or do not: that part is yours to arrange.
