How it works
From the alarm system you already have to the touchscreen at the desk.
Three steps, and your staff only ever touch the third one.
01
Each unit’s system sends a signal
Either straight to Alarm Station, or through a platform like Alarm.com. The alarm systems your units already have carry on doing exactly what they do today. Nothing is added to them, and nothing is taken out.
02
It appears on every touchscreen at that site
In plain language, with your own instructions for that kind of alarm sitting underneath it. Whoever is on shift sees it without opening anything or logging in.
03
Staff press I’m on it, handle it, then press Resolved
I’m on it tells the rest of the building that somebody is already going. Resolved closes it out. For sites that want one, there is a record of who took each alarm and how long it took.
What it connects to
Whatever your units are already running. We work most closely with Alarm.com, whose own signaling carries more than a standard alarm message can, so those accounts arrive with the detail intact. Everything else comes in the same standard way the industry already sends it, so no system is left out. Your installer or dealer will recognize all of it.
If your systems are on Alarm.com, there is more about the Alarm.com integration.
If you are the dealer, the specifics are on the dealers page.
Where the line is
We do not call anybody, and we do not dispatch. That line does not move. Everything past it is your arrangement to make: staff can carry the whole load, a central station can sit behind them, or both can run at once.
Talk to us.
If you sell alarm systems, or you run a staffed community and wish the alarms showed up at the desk, we would like to hear from you.
