Alarm Station

How it fits

It does not have to replace your central station.

How much of the monitoring your own staff take on is your decision. Alarm Station works the same way in all three arrangements.

Staff only

A site with people on shift around the clock can carry the whole load. Alarms land on the touchscreen, staff take them, and nothing is forwarded anywhere else. Check your insurer and local codes before you go this way: some require a supervising station whatever your staffing looks like.

Staff first, central station behind them

Staff see the alarm the moment the system trips and can be at the unit while it is still a question. If nobody has picked it up after the delay you choose, it forwards to your central station on its own. That is the escalation, and it happens without anybody remembering to make it happen.

Both at once

Set the delay to nothing and the alarm goes to your central station and to the screen at the same moment. They work their call list while your staff walk to the unit. Nobody waits on anybody.

Where the line is

We do not dispatch

We never call police, fire, or medical services, and we never call the premises. Our responsibility ends when on-site staff have been notified and have pressed I’m on it. Where your site needs somebody to make that call, that is what a central station is for.

It works with nurse call, not instead of it

Call bells, room stations and staff duress stay on the system you already have, and we make no clinical determination. What Alarm Station adds is everything on the alarm side, medical pendants and fall detection included, on one screen your staff are already watching. In senior living, wellness and care settings that is often the piece that was missing.

Talk to us.

If you sell alarm systems, or you run a staffed community and wish the alarms showed up at the desk, we would like to hear from you.
